I am a Clinical Microbiologist at the National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) with over 20 years of experience in pathology laboratory services. I work across multiple disciplines including Virology, Bacteriology, Tuberculosis, Parasitology, Biochemistry, and Haematology. My responsibilities include diagnostic consultation, test development and validation, EQA, and laboratory accreditation. I also mentor Master’s students and subspecialty trainees, supporting academic and technical training. In addition to laboratory duties, I contribute to national health initiatives through active participation in various public health committees, helping shape laboratory policy, disease surveillance, and quality systems to strengthen national diagnostic and public health capabilities.
